THE
FORGE
Built by enthusiasts who got tired of choosing between cheap toys and overpriced replicas. There had to be a better way.
We knew exactly what was wrong with the market."
We'd both been deep in the hobby for years. Bought the budget options — the ones that looked fine in photos but arrived with tinny speakers, wobbly hilts, and electronics that gave out after a few months of use. Spent evenings on forums comparing specs, watching review videos, trying to figure out which brands were actually worth the money.
Then we looked at the premium end of the market. Beautiful pieces going for $500, $700, $900 — screen-accurate replicas built for display shelves, not for people who actually want to wield them. The quality was real, but so was the price tag. And most of it was going toward the name and the box, not the electronics inside.
The gap was obvious. Genuine neopixel hardware — Xenopixel V3, Proffie 2.2, Samsung cells, real speakers — doesn't cost what the premium brands were charging for it. There was room in the market for a brand that was honest about what things were worth, and built to a standard that enthusiasts would actually respect.
So we built Blackforge. No cheap baselit tiers. No watered-down boards as the default. Xenopixel V3 as the floor — because that's the minimum standard we'd accept for ourselves. Proffie 2.2 for the builders who want to go deeper. Real specs, transparent pricing, and a warranty we actually stand behind because we know exactly what we're putting in each saber.
We're not trying to be the cheapest option in the market. We're trying to be the one you don't regret buying.
XENOPIXEL V3.
NOT AN UPGRADE.
Most brands offer Xenopixel V3 as a premium upgrade over a cheaper base tier. At Blackforge, it's the floor. Every saber ships with the V3 board, 34 pre-installed sound fonts, and full Bluetooth app control as standard.
We made this decision because the experience gap between a baselit saber and a neopixel saber is enormous. If you're spending real money, you deserve the real thing — not a board we reserved for the expensive version.
BUILT TO WIELD.
NOT JUST TO SELL.
Aircraft-grade aluminum alloy hilts. 2mm polycarbonate blades rated for heavy dueling. Protected Samsung 3600mAh cells with USB-C fast charging. A 3W bass speaker loud enough to fill a room.
We've used enough cheap sabers to know exactly where they cut corners. The thin blade walls. The generic no-name cells. The plastic trim pieces pretending to be metal. We don't cut those corners — because we were the customers who got burned by them.
